The Fremont County Public Lands Initiative advisory committee is a collaborative group implementing the Wyoming County Commissioners Association’s Wyoming Public Lands Initiative in Fremont County. Composed of ten members representing diverse interests, the advisory committee intends to negotiate on public land management for wilderness study areas and other landscapes. The committee’s process is intended to be transparent–meetings are open to the public and all interested members of the public are invited to share their perspectives on the process and outcome developed by the committee. The committee will use consensus-based decision making through this collaborative effort.
